style conventions


Roughly speaking,  we'll try to use the following conventions to organize our work.   If you have better ideas, don't hesitate to suggest them or add them here.

 


 

 

Color Highlighting

 

Suppose we are working on the text:

 

Rusticus improbus est alta.

 

If you want to suggest a fix (but aren't certain about it),   highlight the problem and your comment like so:

 

Rusticus improbus est alta.

Shouldn't alta be "altus" since rusticus is masculine?

 

This way the editor (or other commenter) can clearly separate the text from the comments.    Each contributor should use a different color, like so.

 

Rusticus improbus est altus.

Shouldn't alta be "altus" since rusticus is masculine?

Oops!  Yes, you're right.

 

At the top of the page,  please identify your color with your name.  E.g.,
